Years ago I parked in my driveway during a parking ban and saw the guy out there towing other cars. I asked him if I was okay since my car's butt was on the sidewalk a little bit, he said yes. Woke up in the morning to my car gone because I was "blocking the sidewalk". The sidewalk was under 2 feet of snow and I explicitly asked the guy if it was ok. I feel he misled me to me to get some extra income. Picked up my car, it had been dented, but they insisted it was like that when they picked it up.
Had a flat tire and AAA sent Spillane. They were at my location in half the time I was quoted, and the mechanic (I forgot to ask his name!) was friendly and efficient. He had the donut on my vehicle in just a couple minutes, showed me where the puncture was in my flat, and informed me it would be an easy fix anywhere I bring it. Overall, this was a pleasant encounter.
Overall unpleasant people--you don't really have to work at customer service when you're holding peoples' cars hostage. Shocked anybody would choose to utilize their services. Would not support this business.
Slimy, terrible. They're contracted to do towing for parking violations so I think that's the majority of their income, which you can't hold against them; someone's got to do it. However, because of this they go out of their way to tow anybody they think they can because that's how they get paid.
Locked out of our car. Randy was there to help in 10 min. Not 5 mins later he had it unlocked. Can't say enough good things about this guy. Thanks for the laughs Randy!!
I had my vehicle towed a couple of years ago because I owed a parking ticket to the city of Burlington. When I went to collect my vehicle I was told that they only accept cash payment for such owed tickets - the cash payment conveniently never made it to the police department. Make sure to get explicit written evidence of any money you transfer to these people, deal with them at your own risk.
Very helpful - went out of their way to help a friend and myself.
