Love this place, neat old school family owned place. Not too busy, clean rooms with little kitchen areas, pool. Nice place for a decent price. I am from Wilmington, NC
Flight arrived 12:30AM, needed a place close to the airport. No online reservation, so I called. Staff said they would leave a key out for me, which they did. And they were friendly to deal with in the morning when checking out. The problem: Despite it being a non-smoking room, it reeked to high-h@ll of smoke. We were thinking it was stale smoke from when it was probably a smoking room decades ago, but when checking out and I mentioned it, the lady seemed surprised and promised to check on it. Maybe the guests before us smoked, but then how did they miss that in the cleaning? Other than that, several things, mostly in the bathroom, were somewhat in need of updating and repair. It would have (barely) been worth the money if not for the smoke smell. Hopefully this isn't representative of others' experiences; maybe it was a one-off problem.

It seems kinda old and not as modern as most placesbut its a mom and pop type place, people were very nice friendly and worked with us in certain situations
Great management, located not far from the airport. Styled like a classic 90's hotel, keys and all.
