These poor women have spent hours with me trying on different dresses. They have always been so helpful and willing to spend the time with me. I appreciate everything they have done! We ordered a dress and it came in too small, I was disappointed but started to realize it was a sign that it wasn’t the dress for me. When I made another appointment to try on more they welcomed me back to the store with smiles and as willing to help as ever. I ended up staying over the hour allotted for me and they didn’t even question it. They gave me all the time I needed to make my decision. I cannot wait to have the dress arrive and start alterations!!!
I can honestly say I had such a great experience in store! All the sales associates were super helpful, attentive, and honest! They did such an amazing job picking out dresses for me to try, didn’t rush me or pressure me into making a decision, and made me feel like I was the only one in the store! The alterations came out perfectly and I am so happy I decided to give them a try! Thank you for helping me find the dress of my dreams!!
I bought the dress and the person helping me was helpful. I found one I love. Unfortunately, the sales person provided misinformation regarding how much subsequent alterations costs would be. The alterations person was also very nice and wonderful to work with. However, it was really awkward when we discussed the cost. I ended up paying 3x the amount for alterations than I intended. I love the dress, but either the sales people need to be more informed about alterations costs or automatically refer to someone in the alterations department.
I prepared for my dress appointment by favoriting over 25 dresses on the app and even writing down the style numbers and only 3 of the dresses I liked were available in the store for me to try on. I went during my lunch break on a Thursday so the store wasn't busy which was nice but I didn't bring any friends or family with me and the sales people were very dismissive of me as a result. It seems you need to bring an entourage to be taken seriously, although that didn't stop them from chastising me for not having a dress 6 months before my wedding. I won't be going back.
I had a terrible experience at this Davids bridal. I will say, I think my experience was the fault of the specific sales associate I was given but she was gruff. The first thing she did was put pressure on me to buy. My wedding is eleven months away and before we even took anything off the rack she was intimidating me with "dresses take 20 weeks to get in and then there are alternations...." I felt hustled. She put two dresses in a room for me and then basically abandoned me. She was not remotely helpful. We couldn't even find her when we wanted more dresses. A bride should feel the most special when she goes to try on gowns. This associate left me with three dresses and didn't ever come back (over 20 minutes) she started to come back after I was already dressed and did not even apologize. Very bad experience. Go to one of the local bridal shops.
