I came across some old silver half dollars while going through my old things at my parents house. I stopped by Martin's and they were very straightforward and gave me a reasonable price without having to haggle. I am naturally weary of businesses that resell gold and silver but I think I may have found an honest one. They write the check out on the spot and do not try to sell you anything or pressure you into selling/buying. -5 stars-
I was very disappointed! After seeing all the good reviews and how fair he was on prices. I was very eager to come an check it out. I drove over an hour and half believing I was going to get well respected and great service. After waiting over 25 minutes to be seen. I showed him the two silver necklaces that I had. Without even examining them he threw them on a scale and offered me 45$. Told him when bought the appraisal for the men’s necklace was around 800$ and the woman’s 150$. He laughed said I can write an appraisal for 1200$ on the check if you want me to. How rude!!!!! He did not even give me the respect he gave the customer before me. At least with the man before me he checked out every piece of jewelery with a fine tooth colme. But when I came up it was like it didn’t matter to even check...offered me scrap price and said I’m paying 50% more than anywhere else! SO NOT TRUE!!! Definitely will NEVER bring my business there and honestly would say the same to others!!

Good guys to go for advice and appraisal of coins. They ended up chatting for an hour with me and helping me organize what I had, providing baggies and advice. They are quite popular. When I was there, several other customers came in with questions or to chat and look. They also sell some nice collectibles.
