We go out to eat ALOT and I don’t usually write reviews but we were so pleased with our experience last night at Trader Dukes. Our waitress was so friendly and personable, she gave special attention to my picky order and our meal was outstanding. Thanks, Kimmy (that’s the name our receipt said) for going above and beyond! We will be back!
I will say that on Saturday, 9/30/17, we attended a wedding offsite, upon returning to the hotel, we decided to go to the Trader Duke's Bar for a few cocktails. My wife and I were enjoying ourselves, and there was a group that was very rowdy, and being very rude to the bartender (I believe his name was Alex). He handled himself professionally and cut the drunk folks off, and was met with nothing but rude comments towards him. He even had to go as far as having the hotel security on stand-by because although they were cut off, they didn't leave. I had informed him as well as the front desk staff that in my opinion, he handled himself very well and hopefully wouldn't be in trouble for the way those guests acted. He constantly apologized to my wife and I for their and his behavior and we told him he had nothing to apologize for.
Just a stand-up guy dealing with some drunks...
Outstanding as usual. Good food, good drinks and great service.
Wonderful service, a little heavy with the salt, but overall great food.
Our service was SO SLOW. We had to ask to be waited on, we had to flag down waiter for check because he was chatting it up with someone at the booths, I had to take the credit card TO him so we could leave. I would have liked a refill on my iced tea but we were invisible. Our party of four was NOT impressed.
