One of the worst experience of my life i put a cash offer on a property on November 4th and last week found out my offer was being put in and now after waiting on my offer there was a nother one and they got it my thing is they never put my offer in and thats not right i will always turn everyone away from this realtor group
I have purchased four homes with KW and every time has been a smooth and quick process.
We decided to sell our summer home in North Hero, VT. We live in Atl Ga, so we needed a good dependable company to represent us. We decided on KW. The agent who initially took on our property was either fired or quit her job...not really sure. Out of the blue, another agent took over. We were never notified of the change until a random phone call. The agent who took over seemed very knowledgeable to begin with, but as time went on, we became aware that this person had no clue what he was doing. Our cottage needed a desperate cleaning before showing. This agent made no attempt to find a cleaning service for us, so we had to find someone (while we are in Georgia...1200 miles away). Once we had the cottage cleaned, this agent never once made an attempt to have an open house. On several occasions, he made it clear that his traveling to North Hero from his office (a whopping 35 miles) would be too time consuming.We were asking 199,000 for our property; lake front on Lake Champlain. We did receive a few offers, although they were low. Our agent seemed to think that it was the best offer we'd ever get, urging me to accept the offer. When I said that I thought we could get more, he suggested that I was being 'emotional'. We then received an offer of 180,000.00. The agent was sure that this was the best we'd get. The next day, we received an offer of 199,000.00, Finally closing at 201,000.00 after a brief bidding war. After an initial contract was signed, the agent began making under the table deals with the buyer and then asking me to approve them, in hopes of quickly 'wrapping this up' (a phrase he used). This agents sense of loyalty to us, the sellers, and his ethics/morals were clearly lacking. By the time it was all said and done, we wanted nothing to do with our agent, going as far as to omit him from the closing procedures. This was probably the easiest $6000.00 this man ever made for not lifting a finger for his client. This man may be a good agent for a buyer, but certainly not for a seller. Steer clear of this company! And if you decide to utilize them to sell your property? Be prepared to do all the leg work...even if you're 1200 miles away!!!
