It's been almost 7 years since the night I spent here. Having been to other facilities now I must say I remember it more fondly. At first glance it was crowded and smelled of urine, but now I think of how lonely the cells in California get once they label you as a "problem". Burlington officers showed me this hide-away after some serious impact massaging so I was a little sore when I arrived. Although there was initially no place for me to lay down my roommates decided to give me the only solo bunk! So thoughtful. After 20 hours trapped with some gentleman without teeth (those guys were some fast talkers!) an Officer was wearing the latest in muffin top jeans (talk about casual friday!) let me go home. All I had to do was sign a document that the wallet, shoes and phone I had entered with had been swallowed by some kind of quantum singularity. Since the desk officer had cleverly told my friends he would call the on my release I got totally punked! (tm) and had to walk home in the snow with just socks, what an Ashton that guy was! When I got home it was the best Superbowl ever. The Patriots won!
